Full song title is “Living With Compression (It’s Only Sound)”.
The sentiment of this song came out of not being able to decide when a song is right/done/complete/etc. – it applies to so many things in life. Cool jam at the end (that’s the “It’s Only Sound” part).
[Note: Compression is a audio production term. It’s why you can hear actors whispering in a movie while, at the same time, they don’t blow out your ears when they start yelling. It’s magical and frequently frustrating. And the term seems to have an analogous meaning in rest of my life at times…]
